ORGANIZED SHOPPING MADE EASY

QuickShop

A simple way to make shopping easier

QuickShop is designed to streamline the process of creating a shopping list.

Its simple design in Notion is quick and easy to use while allowing for complete customization by the end-user.

01.

No Stress

Running out of bread? Search the Master List and select "bread" to add it to your Shopping List. If it's not on the Master List, you can add it instantly.

Your Master List becomes a checklist of all the items you've bought. Preparing a big shop? Simply look through your Master List and select the items you need again.

02.

What You Need, Where You Need It

Store Views show only items you've linked to that store.

Items can be linked to multiple stores. For example, you can buy bread at the Supermarket or at Target.

If you select bread on your Master List, it'll show up on the Supermarket and Target shopping lists. If you mark it as bought when you're at the Supermarket, it'll automatically be removed from the Target list as well.

03.

No Wasted Time

Your list is grouped by store section so you won't end up backtracking while you shop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use a Master List?

There are multiple benefits to having a single Master List.
1. You can look through it and select the items you know you need. No worries that you might have forgotten something.

2. You can share the list with household members. They can update the list in real-time.

3. Because everybody references the same Master List, you won't end up with duplicates.

4. Check the "bananas" box once and it shows up on the list of any store that carries bananas. Uncheck when you're at one store and it's removed from all the others.

5. You can use the list item to store extra information. E.g. Take a photo of the item to help you find it; make a note of the price; make a note of a brand frozen pizza you liked. You can view & edit the note every time you shop for that item.

Do I have to add Stores and Sections?

The benefit of adding Stores is that you can view only the relevant items when shopping. i.e. you won't have to ignore "pasta" when you're at the hardware store - it'll only show up at stores you’ve designated.
This may not be a big deal, and you can use QuickShop without setting up stores if you prefer.

Assigning sections to your shopping list saves you time when at the store. You can group your list by section and get everything in the produce section before moving to the canned goods aisle. No more backtracking!

Can't I just do this in another App?

Typical to-do list apps aren’t designed to be used this way.
You can often "show completed items", but you can't search them for quick adding. You can't sort them for easily finding what you like and you can't categorize them to help you plan your route around the aisles.
There are other shopping list apps out there - I just couldn't find one that was as quick and effective as this solution.
Some apps try to do too much. Others don't sync well, or don't work cross platform.
Because QuickShop is built in Notion it works on all of your devices and you can give access to the list to anyone you like.
You can customize it to add your own fields, database relations, and whatever else you might want.

It's built in Notion. Can't I just make it myself for free?

The principle behind QuickShop is simple and you can certainly build a basic version yourself.

Many hours have gone into fine tuning the functionality and organisation of QuickShop to make it easy to set up new stores and assign items to them.

Purchasing the ready-built version will save you the time and effort of setting it up and categorising hundreds of common groceries.
